With the author's ms. correction and his ms. inscription "Complete copy. 1.XII.26. TES" on p. xix. With the plate of "Prickly pear"; with the additional wood engraving preceding the dedication, signed in pencil: "The poem. 1/5. Blair H-S. 26." Without the Nash drawings on p. 92 and 208.
This copy issued in binding by Charles McLeish (signed C. McL.) of tan morocco, gilt, with monogram SS; enclosed in green morocco solander by Riviere and Son. Ms. note by G. Bernard Shaw laid in, erroneously ascribing binding to McClelland.
Provenance: Charlotte Shaw (her subscription copy); G. Bernard Shaw. With the latter's book label and ms. inscription on 6 p. preceding t.p. (published in: Flyleaves / Bernard Shaw.
