Biography
Physician. May Chinn was the first black woman graduate of Bellvue Hospital Medical College, the first black female intern at Harlem Hospital and the first black woman doctor in Harlem. Chinn was also a pianist who accompanied Paul Robeson for 4 years during the 1920s.
