B571177) bound with a printed slip pasted to recto of final endleaf: "Important prediction: a new state of society in 1900!!: the year 1900 will find this world and its inhabitants in a state of perfection ... [by] Sam Slee, May 1, A.D., 1848 ..." [United States?: s.n., 1848?] 1 sheet ([1] p.); 9 x 9 cm; Copy 2 in Sc Rare 240-C (accession no. C488594) includes stamps of: "Division of Negro Literature and History;" Property of the City of New York;" and "The New York Public Library: Circulation Department, 135 Street Branch, 103 West 135th St." originally parts of the Circulation Department, and probably pre - 1926 purchase.
