- Una Abell Brinker was born in Wayne, Michigan in 1874. Considered the "First Lady of the Newark, New Jersey Stage", she conducted her own stock companies and appeared in over 1000 roles in repertoire with such performers as Sarah Bernhardt, Madame Modjeska and Rhea. She died in New York in 1952.
