- The copy in the Manuscripts, Archives & Rare Book Division of the Schomburg Center is a pre-1926 gift transferred to the Schomburg collection when Catherine A. Latimer was the collection librarian. It bears an NYPL bookplate of the: "Arthur A. Schomburg Negro Collection," early processing markings of the original Schomburg Collection, and an NYPL perforated stamp. It was a duplicate from the 42nd Street Library & it contains ink stamps from the former: "Gansevoort-Lansing Collection" & "The New York Public Library: Duplicate Hold" on the bottom of the original cover; library bound in brown cloth over boards with original yellow soft printed paper wrappers and gilt spine title.Schomburg Center researchers are restricted to the electronic resource.
