Preston, including one view of a huge truss made when the building was under construction, workers in foreground; view of the National Peace Jubilee, 1869: view of an engraving showing the interior of the coliseum full of people; the coliseum, empty except for seats, the orchestra seats and a large drum with the motto "let us have peace"; views showing orchestra, audience filling coliseum, banners and flags visible; the reception room with flowers, plants; exterior views showing trolleys, carriages arriving, the Norris Bros. Opera House next door, refreshment stands, including one for popcorn; tents; the World Peace Jubilee, 1872: views of the new Coliseum, showing 8 men, possibly assoc. with building the coliseum, seated in an interior; view showing the interior from a far corner, benches in the foreground; views of banners, garlands hanging ; view of orchestra in place, organ beyond, mural above organ, sculpture in foreground; view of the colieum filled to capacity; exterior views including view showing refreshment stands (beer, ice cream, etc.); foot bridge crossing railroad tracks.
