Views of Indian camps, missions and reservations in the upper plains, and portraits of Indian men and women: women pressing buffalo hides, Cheyenne camp, buffalo drying on racks in the same camp, teepees beyond; 4 Indian men in a boat on Ponca creek, one holding fan of feathers, one a rifle; mission of the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions at the Santee Agnecy in Nebraska including the Chapel and School house, the Dakota Home, the Mission House; Chapel and Mission House of the Collegiate Mission of our Most Merciful Savior at the Santee Agency, includng interior view showing altar, pews; Indians sitting in large circles during the issuing of annuities at Ft. Berthold, D.T.; group of Indians and "Red River carts," log buildings beyond; portraits of individuals, all in European dress: the Rev. Luke G. Walker, the Rev. Christian Taopi, the Rev. Paul Mazakute; protrait of an old woman; portrait of two young women and one young man, animal skin used as backdrop.
