- Views in New York Harbor, including the East River and Hell Gate, and including views shot from bridge towers, the Hudson River, Governors Island, the Statue of Liberty and a general view of the bay with ice floes; views of steamships, including interiors, sailing vessels, tugs, barges, oyster barges moored at 10th Street, ferry buildings, men rowing; views of drydocks, shipyards, streets near piers and wharves, U. S. Barge Office, Pennsylvania Railroad Emigant Depot; view aboard the T.A. Co.'s steamer "Pierre" showing crew, and life boat suspended above deck; also includes views of the Naval parade for the Centennial celebration, 1889, including views of Pres. Harrison arriving on the "Despatch;" views of the Columbus naval parade, 1892, including views of the "Nina" and "Santa Maria" replicas; naval parade, 1898, and the battleship "Olympia"; Fort Lafayette; Fort Hamilton; Fort Wood on Bedloe's Island showing men and guns.
