- Most of the views were probably made in 1869, and were published before Jackson sold his Omaha studio in 1872 since all are labelled either Jackson Bros. or W. H. Jackson, Omaha. Labels are printed on mount or printed on paper labels pasted on mounts and include caption and numbering, some captions and numbers printed, others hand-written. Includes views from the series "Rocky Mountain scenery," which may have been made in 1868.
