- Stereoscopic views of the 1871 Wheeler expedition up the Colorado River: views of the four boats with oars up, Mohave Indians looking on, heading out at beginning of trip; views across Black Canyon, man on sand bar in middle ground; view down Black Canyon from Mirror Bar, walls reflected in water; men, one with cup, at Grotto Spring; two Mohave Indian men one sitting on rock, the river beyond; men on rocks leading up wall of Grand Canyon, near mouth of Diamond River; two men and loaded pack mule. Some views duplicated.
