Views of Richmond: general and street views, including general views of Belle Island (a prison camp), and a view of Maj. Thomas P. Turner, commandant of Libby Prison in the camp at Belle Isle, the James River, including Drury's Bluff, a ship, bridges, including one damaged by war, businesses along Main St., pedestrian bridge at Exchange and Ballard, railroad car on Broad St.; churches: St. John's church and burying ground, St. Paul's Episcopal, Monumental Church, First African Church; Homes: Robert E. Lee's home Franklin Street, a small stone house, Washington and Lafayette's Headquarters, Jeff Davis' mansion and other homes; the state Capitol building; the Customs house; cemeteries: Pres. Monroe's tomb in Hollywood Cemetery, view in Laurel Hill Cemetery, the National Cemetery, including the Monument to Confederate dead; monuments: Stonewall Jackson statue, equestrian statue of Washington on the capitol grounds, statue of Clay; the penitentiary; Libby prison, including view showing tents in the foreground, other views when the prison was in use and views after the war; views of Castle Thunder; views of burnt district; the ruins of the Arsenal.
