- Biography
- Charlotte Augusta Southwick Waddell (d. 1891) was a society figure in New York City. Her husband, Coventry Waddell, was a wealthy financier who held various political positions during the Jackson administration. In the 1857 financial panic they lost their money and Mrs. Waddell supported herself by giving readings and private lectures at her home.
