- Biography
- Ellis Parker Butler (1869-1937) was an American author best known as the author of the story "Pigs is Pigs." Butler wrote 30 books and more than 2,000 stories and essays during his lifetime, and helped found the Authors' League of America. He worked as a banker in Flushing, New York where he resided with his family, and was active in local civic affairs.
