Manchester introduces her guest Alicia Markova and plays a recording of an excerpt from Igor Stravinsky's music for George Balanchine's ballet Chant du rossignol [Song of the nightingale]; Markova speaks (briefly) about joining the Ballet russe and her first role, at age 14, of the nightingale in Song of the nightingale; she reminisces about Igor Stravinsky including how he worked with her at rehearsals as well as his generosity; Markova's costume.
