Erik Bruhn speaks with John Gruen about Rudolf Nureyev including an anecdote about their learning to drive together in London, England; his three months in Australia; Sonia Arova including her marriage; Lucia Chase and his return to American Ballet Theatre, with Carla Fracci; dancing Giselle with Yvette Chauviré in 1964 including Nureyev's response to the performance; touring in Europe with the Harkness Ballet including his impressions of Rebekah Harkness [short gap]; his recurring illness [ends abruptly but continues on streaming file 2].
