John Gruen introduces Paul Szilard; Szilard speaks with Gruen about his career in ballet including during World War II; Sonia Arova, including how they first came to dance together, at the San Carlos opera in Lisbon; Arova as a dancer including a performance anecdote; his retiring as a dancer and becoming an impresario and artistic adviser; an anecdote about dancing Carabosse with Arova in Japan; starting his own company; his three years as Erik Bruhn's manager; his production of Pas de quatre for Bell Telephone Hour with Alicia Alonso, Nora Kaye, Mia Slavenska and Melissa Hayden [ends abruptly].
