- Jules Perrot and Lucile Grahn in Perrot's ballet Catarina, premiered at the King's Theatre, London, March 3, 1846.
- Perrot in an open fourth position, right foot front, right hand on hip, left arm extended to side. His body is slightly inclined, from the waist, to the left. Grahn, poised on her left demi-pointe, right foot crossed before, holds Perrot's left hand in her left, while her right arm is arched about her head.
