- Depicts an oval room with windows, mirror and fireplace in which five men are receiving a dancing lesson. The dancing master stands on the right side facing left holding a violin. Two men, seated on chairs on the left side, observe two others in the center. These two face each other forward and back and stand in relévé in fourth position. The fifth man stands with hat in hand as if in a bow, on the far right side of the print. All wear breeches, tights, waistcoats, justacorps, three-cornered hats and buckled shoes.
