- Almost three-quarter length to front, looking front, right elbow on pillar with wreathed inscription: Nato in Palermo il 1791. Left hand in lap holds scroll. Border consists of an oval wreath of laurel leaves, each one of which bears name and year of one of his 96 ballets.
