- A caricature depicting ten adults in a dancing school. Two couples dance in background. A young man dances before a mirror. A man stands in first position in a waist-high wooden stall devised to force turn-out. Another man stands in first position with his feet against a wooden block. A dancing master plays a pochette.
- Matted with the original pen and watercolor drawing (cropped to 19 x 29.6 cm.) after which the engraving was executed.
