Note
  • A satire on ballet instruction. The dancing master, at background right, poised on the tips of his pumps, plays the fiddle. His pupil, an obese man with a large head and short legs, points his left toe. He wears a top hat and garters. A dog balances on its hind legs. No background, except a board floor.
