- Summary
- Documentary on the Dahlia Festival of Jewish folk dances with excerpts of dances performed by people from Israel, Morocco, Yemen, India, northern Iraq, and groups of Druses and Circassians. The first section shows these people in preparation for performance putting on costumes and make-up as well as cooking, making instruments, and praying (all brief segments). In the second section, excerpts of the performances are shown. Among the dances performed are the hora, a fisherman's dance, debka, and Hasidic courting and wedding dances.
