  • A matronly lady in a voluminous dress dances with an emaciated, elderly man. He is wearing a frock coat with deep cuffs, knee breeches, and a wig bag.
  • A woman sits on a chair at back, awaiting her turn. Her headdress consists of a curving row of tight curls. A dog dances on his hind legs, while a monkey plays with a fan. A man, seated at right, idly strums a lute or guitar.
  • Paintings on the wall include the depiction of a man leading a trained bear.
