Summary
Celebration of the feast of Shavuot, the ceremony of the first fruits. In an outdoor pageant, the members of the kibbutz bring forward offerings of agricultural produce, fish, and livestock. These offerings are interspersed with verse readings by a man and woman, and dances by small groups of women and children. The ceremony closes with dances by a large mixed group.
