- Summary
- Julia Levien discusses the preservation and survival of Isadora Duncan's style, technique, and choreography, now being carried on by a fourth generation of Duncan dancers. A student of Anna and Irma Duncan, Levien commemorated the 50th anniversary of Isadora's death by forming a company to perform her dances. She notes the special characteristics of Isadora's style and technique, and its affinities to and differences from other styles and techniques of dance and movement training.
