Summary
Dancer-choreographer Pearl Lang recalls her years as a member of and later a guest artist with the Martha Graham Dance Company, including the roles she created or inherited from Graham. Turning to her own choreography, she discusses one of its major currents, based on Hebraic literature and traditions. As an example, a brief excerpt from her Song of Deborah is screened. She also discusses her work on a film version of The possessed, performed by herself, William Carter, Alexander Minz, and others.
