CONTENTS. - Interview with Verlyn Brady. Recorded in Hillsville, Virginia, in July 1989. Brady, a square dance caller at the Fancy Gap Elementary School dances, discusses various aspects of square dancing, including figures, calling, and music, and flatfooting, the predominant dance of his youth.
