CONTENTS. - 1 (45 min. total): Gending Condronoto (approx. 20 min.). Musical piece, for gamelan and voice. Ramayana dance drama: Introduction and Scene I (approx. 25 min.). Prince Rama and Princess Sita, exiled to the forest, are separated through a ruse by the evil king Rahwana, who abducts Sita. Hanuman, the monkey general, offers to help Rama recover his wife. -- 2 (57 min.): Scene II. In the women's quarters of Rahwana's palace, Rahwana's niece Trijata attempts to protect Sita from her uncle's advances. Hanuman infiltrates the palace to tell Sita that rescue is on the way. Beset by two giant palace guards, he successfully repels them. Rama and Rahwana battle, and the victorious Rama is reunited with Sita.
