- James Clouser, whose work as a dancer, choreographer, and teacher has spanned both ballet and modern dance, discusses technical points of both forms, and their increasing affinity. He looks back over his career, which has included performing with American Ballet Theatre and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet; studying modern dance with Ruth Currier, Betty Jones, José Limón, and Bertram Ross; assisting Antony Tudor at the Juilliard School; and studying Bournonville technique in Copenhagen and Russian ballet technique in the U.S.S.R. In conclusion, he talks about his interest in kinesiology and the prevention of dance injuries.
