Dr. Richard Bozone, a Dallas-based orthopedist who serves as physician to the Fort Worth Ballet, discusses his specialty in treating dancers and their injuries. He describes some major causes of dance injuries, among them accidents, overuse and fatigue, and faulty technique, and mentions some rehabilitative and preventative measures. He contrasts the injury potential of ballet, modern dance, and aerobic dancing, and concludes with a few do's and don't's for dancers.
