Summary
Documentary on the Japanese dancer/choreographer Tatsumi Hijikata, a founder of Butō. Profusely illustrated by footage of his stage performances and films, the latter including Navel and A-bomb, and Revolt of the flesh (both b&w), as well as his last film, Makiko Monogatori, made in 1985. He is also seen in an interview recorded in 1985.
