Summary
Documentary on timbila [xylophone] music and the associated men's dance, performed by the Chopi of Mozambique. A description and demonstration of the instruments is followed by an analysis of the musical structure of timbila compositions, and the analysis and performance of three sections of the dance, which is performed with sticks and shields.
