Summary
Ann Hutchinson Guest, director of the Language of Dance Centre in London, discusses movement education for children with interviewer Monique Griffiths. Classroom footage drawn from three Language of Dance sessions taught by Jane Whitear Dulieu, Ann Hutchinson Guest, and Michelle Groves shows children aged 4 to 15 exploring the different components of dance, using imagery as an impetus for movement, and experimenting with basic notation symbols.
