- Summary
- Documentary on life in the Balinese village of Sebatu, which centers upon dance and music. The title is a Balinese saying meaning "Act according to the circumstances." The villagers, adults and children, are seen both as dancers and in their daily occupations. Scenes of everyday life are interspersed with footage of performances, lessons, rehearsals, and preparations for festivals. Appearing in interviews are Wayan Susila, a composer; Nyoman Jaya, a woodcarver; the venerable dance master Wayan Cemil; Wayan Pasek, a civil servant; and Nyoman Kedim, a farmer.
