Biography
The Equitable Appraisal Company, founded in 1904 in New York City, provided asset evaluation services. In the 1920s-1940s the company engaged in the valuation of property for insurance, estate and tax purposes. Officers were William G. Pilgrim, president, and Michael J. O'Haren, secretary-treasurer. Between 1920 and 1943 the company offices were located at 145 Nassau Street in New York City.
