In the first approximate eight minutes of the recording, Klarna Pinska speaks about the conversation she had on the previous day [October 7, 1976], with Walter Terry, in New York City about Ruth St. Denis, Ted Shawn, and early Denishawn dances. The remaining approximate 13 minutes contains Pinska's description of the rehearsal session she led later that afternoon with Joyce Trisler's company [Joyce Trisler Danscompany]. The recording is diary-like in that Pinska also describes her meals and other personal matters.
