- Pforzheimer copy 1: Randolph's first issue, with the first word, 'Dispatch,' of the seventh line, page five, misspelled 'Despatch.' -- With : Address leaf to T. N. Longman in Byron's hand (B 0116) mounted on front paste-down, including his initial and his wax seal ; and a tipped-in letter from Sharon Turner to Lackington & Co. (B'ANA 0368). -- Provenance : William Morris of Kelmscott House, Hammersmith (printed paper label). -- Binding : Original blue-gray printed boards trimmed top and bottom, spine glued at a later date, "Made in England" stamped on lower free endpaper, covers detached. In red cloth folder within red straight-grain morocco pull-off case, gilt decorations, rules, crowns with "B" below on back and sides, gilt letters at back. -- Writing removed from h.-t. and t.p.; some marginalia in text, partially removed. Shelved as *Pforz 558R 11.Pforzheimer copy 2: Randolph's second issue, with the first word of the seventh line, 'Dispatch,' of page five spelled correctly. -- Provenance : H. B.
