Summary Mr. Barbera discusses his background, first work as an animator, and his first success; various influences on his animation style; choreographing for animation; early success and later having to close the studio; working for Gene Kelly; different models for animated dance; the importance of timing in humor; and key features of great performers and animation. Interviewer solicits brief comments from Mr. Barbera on a variety of performers.
