Summary

Theater piece inspired by the koan, or questions posed to students by masters of the Rinzai sect of Zen Buddhism. As the program states, "The student must then strive to find a reply to each of these questions in turn -- they become his focus for meditation. Sometimes it is years and sometimes even a lifetime before the student finds his answer."
