- Nadjy (sometimes spelled Nadgy or Nadji) was performed at the Casino, New York, N.Y., Jan. 21-May 8, 1889, and Miss Russell performed excerpts at two benefits during the run. Russell's role in the operetta was as the Princess Etelka and these images were from the third act in which she appeared dressed as a Hungarian officer.
