- Part of a photograph series made by the White Studio, New York, N.Y., many of which appeared in newspaper and magazines articles about Lillian Russell. On Sept. 28, 1915, the Cleveland Plain Dealer printed the photo with Russell identified as "Mrs. Lillian Russell-Braham-Solomon-Chatterton-Moore", a reference to Russell's many marriages and the public's fascination with them. The photograph also appeared Jan. 2, 1916 in the San Francisco Post announcing Russell's appearances as the headliner at the Orpheum Theatre, a vaudeville house of the time.
