Summary
Depicts a large crowd of people walking through rows of cages and pens holding many species of animals in various sizes, including a row of elephants on the right edge, and a rhinoceros and two hippopotamuses, drawn oversized.

  • The Christy Brothers Circus began in 1910 as Christy's Big Hippodrome Shows but changed to a circus format in 1914. It changed in 1919 to a railroad-car traveling circus, but was devastated by the Great Depression, finally ceasing operations in July, 1930.
