- Biography
- An American pianist and harpsichordist, Paul Jacobs, 1930-1983, specialized in music of the baroque and avant-garde. Jacobs was the official pianist and harpsichordist of the New York Philharmonic (1962-1974). He studied piano with Ernest Hutcheson, and later taught at the Manhattan School of Music, Mannes College of Music, Berkshire Music Center,and at Brooklyn College.
