- The William D. Eppes papers consist of Mr. Eppes' correspondence with Diana Forbes-Robertson, his correspondence with Mimi Keller, editor/publisher of the periodical PUG TALK, to whom he submitted a piece about Ms. Forbes-Robertson's pug dog Bill, a brief memoir by Mr. Eppes about his meeting with Ms. Forbes-Robertson in 1985, brief biographical pieces about Ms. Forbes-Robertson and her husband, Vincent Sheean, and also a letter from actor Keith Baxter about the 1988 murder of actor George Rose.

- Biography
- Diana Forbes-Robertson (1915-1987), was the daughter of the actors Sir Johnston Forbes-Robertson and Lady Gertrude Forbes-Robertson, as well as the niece of actress Maxine Elliot, about whom she wrote MY AUNT MAXINE. In 1935, Diana married the journalist and author Vincent Sheean (1899-1975), whose autobiography PERSONAL HISTORY was published that year.
