Summary The Lawrence M. Klee papers consist primarily of correspondence and other items concerning Mr. Klee's radio career. Items related to radio include a memo concerning potential plot twists of YOUNG WIDDER BROWN, contracts to write for MR. & MRS. NORTH and other programs, and a proposal for a show to be based on the works of Somerset Maugham. Television is represented only by a 1950 note concerning Klee's writing fee for MAN AGAINST CRIME, a show which ran on radio from 1947-51, and television from 1949-54. Klee's wartime service is represented by the Silver Medal awarded him by the U.S. Treasury Department, and by several letters commending him for war work.
Biography Lawrence M.
