- "This Bible, edited by Gilbert McCallum, and known as The Queen's Bible, was prepared for the International Exhibition of 1862. It was one of the earliest books for which machinery was used for composing, though the printing was done by hand. Only 170 copies were published ... The work was also issued in twenty parts"--Herbert.
- Binding: Red morocco, embossed with royal cipher and other ornaments, by Leighton; with brass mountings and clasps. Each vol. enclosed in plush-lined wooden box with brass mountings.
