- Chandos Sweet (1882-1960) worked as a company manager, business manager, and general manager for numerous plays, touring companies and theaters in a show business career which lasted over four decades.

- Biography
- Chandos Sweet (1882-1960) worked as a company manager, business manager, and general manager for numerous plays, touring companies and theaters in a show business career which lasted over four decades. At various times in his career Chandos Sweet worked as an actor and also served as an agent for actors, but by the late 1930s he was employed primarily as a manager, and remained active in that capacity almost to the end of his life. Sweet formed an especially close friendship with Gertrude Lawrence. Chandos Sweet died in March 1960.
