Franklin speaks about Ruthanna Boris; the dancer Harriet Toby; Sergei Denham's policy regarding the dancers' billings; the re-use of bodices and tutus; more on Boris; injuries and diet of dancers in the company; an anecdote about Boris, Nina Novak, and Antonia Cobos' work The mute wife; Vitorio Rieti, the composer of the score of George Balanchine's ballet Night shadow, including the circumstances of the ballet's creation; the dancer Tamara Toumanova, including her relationship with the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo; her strengths as a dancer. [Ends abruptly.]
