  • [It is "Mogulesco Week." Mogulesco has decided to remain with the Windsor Theatre and never to split from it. The world progresses by century, but the Windsor--by the week! Mogulesco's return is a giant leap forward. A parable: an elderly Jew closed his eyes. A doctor took him in, but declared him dead. Another doctor came on the scene and said that it might very well be a lethargic sleep. The only way to say for sure is to invite a comic to perform: if the man is alive, he will surely laugh. The man laughed uproariously. One doctor said to his colleague, "so he is alive." The second said, "No, actually, he is dead. But this comic is the famous Mogulesco and he can even make the dead laugh!" Mogulesco is the man that makes sadness disappear like the sun drives away the shadows. Such an artistic comic, he is like God's envoy that sent to revive the residents of the Vale of Tears. This is only a joke, yet it illustrates the quality of this great artist who has become beloved by the people and the ideal of the stage, Mr. Sigmund Mogulesco.]
  • At top of poster: Thalia Theatre.
  • [Thursday the 26th of November, evening, "Thanksgiving Day" for the first time. Thursday the 26th of November, matinee, "Thanksgiving Day" a great holiday, the Holiday of Harvest of our adopted Fatherland. And for such an occaision we will perform a matinee as well. We could think of no better play with which to welcome the actor back than Joseph Latayner's "Blimele."]
  • [Friday and Saturday evenings Schiller's great work, "Don Carlos," in its second week: there is finally a successful performance of this classic work on the Jewish stage. Great mavens have already been delighted, the audience could not help but marvel and everyone says that there is nothing beyond the strength of the ensemble that consists of the best Jewish actors as does the Windsor Theatre Company. About the work itself, what can we say? It is one of the best works of one of the best German poets that is not often played in the entire civilized world. And now listen and marvel: Due to Mogulesco's decision to remain with the Windsor Theatre, we have arranged for the two evenings of Friday and Saturday night TWO EXTRA ADDITIONS in which Mr. Mogulesco and Mr. Mark will perform together after the "Don Carlos" performance. Mr. Mogulesco and Mr. Marks with the participation of Mrs. Tomashevsky will perform the highly comic operetta in one act, "Shulamit's Nephew or Trilbi's sister-in-law of Marks." Saturday night, also after "Don Carlos," Mogulesco will marry Marks and everyone is invited to witness the event. A happy comedy: Marks is marrying Mogulesco, with the participation of the company. With the collaboration of these two comedians there will be what to laugh at(but how!) Every misanthrope, every bitter heart, every melancholic will come looking for cheering up in this temple of art. After the tragedy of "Don Carlos" your pessimistic thoughts will be vanquished.]
