Summary · Autograph signature to library slip, n.d. (MISC 3457), requesting Grose's Treatise on ancient armour and weapons.
· To the Rev. Dr. Burton : 1 autograph letter signed ; 3 Sep 1841 (MISC 3458), insisting: "I never heard before you mentioned his name of Michl. Bryan O'Shea, and also I have never in my life addressed any letter to you. Will you do me the favor to enclose to me the letteryou have rec'd purporting to come from me ..."

Biography John Banim, Irish novelist and playwright. He and his brother Michael wrote under the pseudonyms Abel and Barnes O'Hara, respectively, and became well known for their Irish nationalist tales.
